East Sussex Advice Plus (ESAP) is a Big Lottery project, running from April 2009 - March 2012.

ESAP is working with a partnership of agencies that provide generalist and specialist advice services in East Sussex.

The aims of ESAP are to:-

• Increase access to advice services

• Improve the quality of advice services

• Improve signposting & referrals processes, through the implementation of an inter-agency electronic referral and appointment booking system. Visit the Nellbooker page.

• Improve case coordination; developing processes for working with shared clients to ensure a holistic approach.

• Work collaboratively to increase the profile and representation of advice services within East Sussex and to ensure that the provision of high quality free of charge, independent advice is safeguarded for the future.

• Work strategically across the County to develop and agree a long term strategy for the future provision of sustainable Quality Assured Independent legal advice in East Sussex.
